Terry, lovingly known as The Big Kahuna, was the heart of the business — the mastermind behind the formulas and the driving force behind their mission. Inspired by his Hawaiian heritage, Terry created a line of natural products including salt scrubs, body butter, healing salve, and their signature lip balm in a tin.

 While Terry perfected the formula, Becca built everything around it by developing relationships, managing the business, and ensuring Terry’s creations reached the people who needed them most. Her dedication and steady leadership helped transform their family business into something truly special.

Everything changed when Wynn Las Vegas approached Terry and Becca with a unique request. Could their original Big Kahuna lip balm be packaged in a sleek tube with custom branding, designed specifically for a luxury guest experience?

That single opportunity became the turning point.

What began as a custom solution for Wynn marked the birth of LipNotes, a dedicated custom lip balm brand combining Terry’s perfected formula with high quality, personalized packaging made for premium retail, hospitality, and branded programs.

Carrying On the Legacy

Though Terry has since passed on, his legacy as The Big Kahuna lives on through the values and quality he built into every product. Our dedicated Office Manager, Tori, has been a vital part of our journey for over 25 years, ensuring the business continues to thrive with the same heart and attention to detail.

Today, as Terry and Becca’s children build their own families, they proudly carry on the family tradition and values, ensuring LipNotes remains committed to delivering exceptional products with a personal touch.
